Tamara is committed to counselling with humility, empathy and respect. She believes that personal development, lasting growth and healing happens through deep listening, connection and self-awareness. Using mindfulness and meditation within the counselling process can help you to live in the present moment rather than being caught up in unhelpful thoughts about the past or future.

Living and working in West Africa for more than ten years has helped Tamara understand how culture and personal experiences impact individual in unique ways. She also recognises that we are all striving to improve our lives and we learn and grow from our interactions with each other.

Motto/saying - The idea [of therapy] isn't to give people answers, or lead their bark of longing into a safe, dull, protected harbor, but to make people aware of the depths of possibility in their hearts and lives; help them remove the barriers that keep them from being the people they were meant to be.  John O’ Donohue
