Qualifications: Diploma in Counselling and Communication, Advanced Diploma in Art Therapy, Bachelor Social Science (Counselling); Master of Counselling Practice (current).

Sian’s holistic approach to counselling focusses on creating a strong alliance with her clients, assisting them in their unique journeys of healing and self-discovery, and at times, respectfully challenging them in a safe and grounded environment so they may connect with their true authentic selves.

She has 16 years of counselling experience in the fields of drug and alcohol counselling, and currently works in a private Rehabilitation center for those struggling with addiction.

Sian also uses many different modalities with her clients such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Transpersonal art therapy, Mindfulness techniques, and Somatic body work to assist those dealing with trauma. She also has experience using Inner Child work to assist those dealing with childhood trauma.

Sian’s areas of interest are drug and alcohol counselling, addictions, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship counselling.
