Sarah French

Masters in Counselling Practice (current)

Sarah is a warm and flexible counsellor with 10 years of experience working with people of many backgrounds. Sarah's background includes helping young people navigate the challenges of life's transitions, understanding identity (both cultural and personal) and maturing into independence. She is particularly skilled at helping people of many ages and backgrounds to work out how to put to words what they are going through, to action next steps, as well as finding peace and personal resources in the process.

Sarah understands that life throws many unexpected challenges at people and that these challenges may bring about trauma, depression, anxiety, uncertainty, personal paralysis and more. Sarah's passion is to help people get unstuck and to find their own strengths and path of resilience in the face of life's challenges; to equip people to live wholly in their own selves.

Sarah utilises different methods and counselling modalities depending on what the client's needs require, including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy).

Sarah is LGBT+ safe and friendly.
