Ritia (pronounced ‘Reesa’) is an empathetic, kind, and encouraging counsellor who resides in Vanuatu. She is happily married to Karl for over twenty years, and they have four teenagers.

She has been involved in care ministries where she assists and empowers women and children in need. Recently, Ritia is involved with the women’s prison ministry where she brings comfort and hope to the female inmates for the past three years.

Ritia is currently enrolled in Master of Counselling Practice and has a sound understanding of mental health and mental wellbeing. She has a passion and interest to help women and young people undergoing trauma, addictions, and lack of self-esteem. Ritia values and respects individual uniqueness and provides a safe, non-judgemental, confidential, cultural-sensitive environment for clients to safely share their stories.

Ritia is willing to work with clients who wish to integrate their Christian faith as a resource during counselling. She draws from ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy) as her therapeutic approach to counselling.
