Rachel is a passionate counsellor who displays warmth, insight and genuine concern for her clients.  She will gently guide you through the process of inner healing with respect for individuals and their presenting circumstances.  Rachel includes the option of integrating client’s spirituality in her counselling practice.

Rachel has been employed in the human services sector for 6 years working with ‘at risk’ youth experiencing complex needs and specialising with CALD clientele from Refugee and Migrant backgrounds.  Rachel has been working in complex case management liaising, facilitating and planning outcomes with multicultural communities and peak stakeholders; child protection services, SAPOL, hospitals and relevant NGO’s.  Rachel is well educated on the sector and how to navigate the needs of her clients.

Rachel has in depth knowledge and experience working with individuals exploring the following issues:  history of torture and trauma, domestic violence, homelessness, addiction, self-harm and suicidal ideation, unplanned pregnancies, mental health concerns, financial hardship, child protection and crisis intervention.
