Master of Counselling Practice ( Current), Grad Diploma in Social Science – Health Counselling, Bachelor of Social Science – Human Services, Social Health, Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment

My name is Mary and I am compassionate, empathic and understand that life can create many challenges and confusing times.  Working alongside you, I will listen, support and enable you to empower yourself to make choices that help you discover a meaningful and fulfilling life.

I have extensive experience in the human service sector in supporting the well-being of the whole person (mind, body, spirit) with the belief that all humans need to be in connection with others and their communities.  Through a trauma informed practice of a person-centred, strengths-based approach I use modalities such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focussed Therapy (SFT) and Gestalt Therapy.

I believe that everyone has the innate ability to heal, and that each new day brings new hope and possibilities.
