Hi, I’m Heather. I have been a gardener and mother for over twenty years, as well as walking alongside people with disabilities toward independent living, volunteering in community services with families and those experiencing homelessness. Nurturing growth and healing in a safe, encouraging, empathetic environment is very natural for me.

I often marvel at how plants which appear on their last legs, given the right conditions, can bounce back with new vigour and life. I believe this is true of people too. We can become stuck and unaware of the resources we possess to survive and even thrive.

I am committed to coming alongside people in their struggles, without judgment, ensuring they feel heard, understood and helping them find their own solutions and strengths to face the difficulties of life.
