Deborah is a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, currently pursuing her Master of Counselling Practice. She graduated with a PostGraduate Diploma in Counselling at Murdoch University, currently working in a Registered Government-Funded agency assessing, supporting and planning client needs to support the psychological mental health recovery and goals of clients using a person-centred and strengths-based approach She also runs a counselling private practice for adults, adolescents, and children presenting with various issues. Deb’s parents are pastors, and she has a teenage son. Deb is involved in a counselling ministry team, and used to run a prayer ministry to support parents and children impacted by separation and divorce. Deb is passionate about trauma recovery and the impact of developmental attachment styles on adult coping.
